I am so excited to share this blog with everyone. For May Edition, I chose my friend Anyeri from Bish Lashes. Anyeri and I have known each other for years. We met as makeup artists working for separate brands. Yep, rival brands! We have gone through a lot together -- in the industry and personally. I have had the pleasure of watching her grow as an individual and in her career. It's a beautiful thing to embrace women around you, build each other up and conquer any fear of competition.
She just launched her own lash line. I could not be any more impressed by her. Here is everything you need to know about Anyeri and Bish Lashes.
Meet Anyeri
She's a single mom to a five going on eighteen year old name Selena. She loves to sing her heart out, write songs and poems, get physical with work outs and more. She is a makeup artist, owner of a lash bar, a micro blade technician and now, the owner of an awesome lash line called BISH Lashes.
By the way, Bish stands for Babe Impressively Secure of Herself.

Q: What is your favorite beauty tip right now?
A: Less is more, especially when it comes to skincare. Drink lots of water especially with lemon.
I can get down with this. I love fruit infused water. My go-to is Lemon and Cucumber. Great advice, Anyeri. And as a fellow makeup artist, I can definitely say this is great advice. Less is more and skincare is a great thing.
Q: What kind of advice could you give to women about self confidence?
A: You are you and that is your power.
Its so easy to stand in the kitchen and take the knife out on yourself, but if you wouldn't do that to a good friend or your daughter, then why is it cool to do it to yourself?
I love this, Anyeri. I think that answer is everything we needed to hear. We are our worst critic. I love all this advice she is sharing with us. Q: What made you pick Lashes?
A: I wanted to do a lash line because Ive been obsessed with having long full lashes since I was a teenager and how they complete your whole makeup look. However, I don’t have the patience to do extensions and some of my clients also don’t have the time or finances to get refills all the time so false lashes make it easy to change up your look and you can wear them when you want and are much more affordable!
Q: Whats your favorite style of lashes you carry?
Well, they're like my babies now, so i love them all. It's hard to pick a favorite but I’m obsessed with 012 and 005. They give a gorgeous wispy wide eye look! Very much like old Hollywood glamour!
