Why “Cheap” Mascara That Doesn’t Run Is Worth Your Time

Mascara is one of the products I go through the fastest. Between wear of the product and proper hygiene for my clients, I am constantly tossing tubes. For personal use, mascara should be replaced every 90 days to avoid bacteria buildup and eye irritation. Because of that, spending a lot of money on mascara rarely makes sense.

"Cheap" mascara that does not run, smudge, or flake is absolutely worth your time. If it holds up all day, gives good volume, and keeps your under-eyes clean, it is doing its job. Price does not equal performance when it comes to mascara.

One of my go-to options is Essence Lash Princess. It delivers length and volume, stays in place, and is easy to replace every three months without guilt. It is proof that a lower price point can still give professional-looking results.
